Nice // Promenade des Anglais: Historic Building / Unique Location / To be renovated
Villa Zofia is a magnificent villa located on the first line in the heart of the city of Nice, with a history dating back to the late 19th century.
The villa was built in 1892 by a renowned Swiss architect for a wealthy Russian aristocrat. It was named after his daughter, Zofia, and was designed in a neoclassical style with baroque and Art Nouveau influences.
Villa Zofia was known for its lush gardens and fountains, as well as its sumptuous interiors with wall frescoes, plaster moldings, and marble furniture.
Over the years, the villa changed hands several times, from Russian owners to French entrepreneurs and finally to an American family.
Later on, the villa became the property of the City of Nice, which used it for cultural events and exhibitions. In 1984, Villa Zofia was sold to a private investor, who fully restored it and transformed it into a luxury hotel.
Today, the villa is still a prestigious hotel and is considered one of Nice's architectural gems, attracting visitors from all over the world to admire its timeless beauty.
Various possibilities are available today for this exceptional property, such as a hotel, restaurant, or professional offices, etc.
