' To tell about this structure we have to start from far, far away...
it was the end of the 1800s, Vito Nicola Mummolo married Beatrice Traversa for his second wedding. The spouses lived in Corso Due Mari (now Via Ennio), in what Mummolo calls the Casina'.
The structure of important architectural and artistic value extends over an area of approximately 13,000 m2. An avenue takes us to the square in front of the building which appears majestic in the eyes of the client.
The ground floor was originally intended for service areas, warehouses and spaces for the storage or transformation of agricultural products. The steellla and barrel vaulted ceilings.
On the first floor there is what used to be the 'noble' floor, intended for the owner's residence, with large rooms and architectural details such as star-shaped ceilings and decorated carriages, cement bricks. Also on the first floor and more precisely on the iron balustrade you can still see the initials VNM (Vito Nicola Mummolo).
The second floor was a warehouse covered by a sloping wooden roof.
On the outside, two buildings respectively to the right and left of the noble floor, intended for secondary rooms such as the unskilled workers' homes, kitchens, etc..
