Wine, much more than a drink! The vineyard and wine are timeless elements of a natural, yet human, landscape. From cultivation to pruning, from harvesting to the treatment of the final product, an elaborate method of consumption follows, almost a ritual. Tasting a good wine is almost guaranteed access to its past, recognizing the places, facts, individuals, and families that made it, making the whole process something magical. I will now present a wine estate located in Poceirão/Palmela with 13.05 hectares, of which 8.875 hectares are planted with the Piriquita grape variety. With a storage capacity of 400,000 liters and an annual production of 150,000 liters, the estate boasts a complete production line that encompasses everything from harvesting and receiving the grapes in the "tegão" (a special container that receives and distributes the grapes without crushing or damaging them), to destemming, crushing, draining, and of course fermentation, culminating in bottling and bottling of the much-appreciated nectar. The estate also includes two single-story houses for habitation: one with a covered area of 93m² comprising five rooms and three attached outbuildings totaling 76m² for stables, a wine cellar, and storage; and a second single-story house with a covered area of 58m² with two rooms and two attached outbuildings totaling 87m² for stables and a hayloft. The estate also features five warehouses, fruit trees, and two wells providing potable water. Estate with great potential for both residential and commercial use, including wine tastings and restaurants, or an ecological farm with leisure and accommodation areas.
