In the East of Paris, this Mansion, located in the charming city of Fontenay-Trésigny, about 45 kms from Paris, is an old hunting lodge of the 19th century. It is a lordship dating back to the reign of Louis the 13th. It is on this land that the mansion has been built back in 1893.
This anglo-Norman style mansion, close to the castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte, was the property of an alderman of Paris and an infantry captain. Many poets and writers have come to this wonderful property as famous as Jean de La Fontaine, Molière, Mrs de Sévigné and more recently the singer Michel Polnareff who found the inspiration, staying one year round in one of the small pavilions of the park surnamed "White Snow".
This mansion is located in a 6 hectares'park and a forest of 8 hectares. It includes 15 bedrooms, 5 living rooms, one bar, a professional kitchen, a veranda, a terrace, and two reception halls. The buildings around include 26 more rooms, 2 auditoriums, 5 spaces dedicated to seminaries, a covered swimming pool and a tennis court.
Since 1996, Chaudbuisson Mansion is a site, exclusively dedicated to corporations'seminaries. There is the opportunity to transform the mansion into a 3 or 4 stars'hotel with a huge capacity of 80 to 100 customers.
