Giudecca represents a new face of Venice, a place where the ancient and the modern coexist, creating different situations. Walking through the foundations we notice historic buildings that blend with industrial elements of architectural value, such as the Stucky Mill or the former Dreher brewery, converted into various lofts with an inimitable design. We enter from the main entrance and with a few flights of stairs we access a first common, clear and minimalist part. A second common part, shared with another property, seems to announce the magnificent Loft that awaits us. Opening the doors, we are immediately struck by the extreme brightness. We walk through the entrance with great curiosity, until we walk into a modern double-height nave which amazes us with its design and simplicity; an open space kitchen in bright shades directs the gaze towards the large living room. Walking along it to the end we exit through the large glass arch to take a break on the terrace overlooking the gardens. We then turn our gaze and notice an internal balcony which suggests an equally interesting second floor. After noticing the laundry room, the bathroom and an open bedroom, we decide to go up the wooden stairs that lead us to the sleeping area: two other open rooms welcome us at the entrance to the second floor, then a dressing room and a bathroom modern with tub. We arrive in the master bedroom: a lot of light enters from the balcony, we are attracted and leaning out we are dazzled by an incredible view of Venice, up to the mountains in the distance. The solution is one of a kind, design and simplicity intertwine perfectly in a convivial and intimate place, where you can experience an alternative Venice. The island of Giudecca is one of the most well-known residential areas of Venice. With its characteristic houses and the famous Redentore church, it exudes a charm that has always remained intact over time. Just a short gondola ride away from San Marco, it was called the "garden of delights" of Venice in the 18th century. The apartment is located on the quiet island of Giudecca, two minutes from the Palanca Vaporetto stop, from which you can reach S. Marco and the main points of interest of Venice in less than ten minutes.
