Villa Arcadia It is located in a country-type suburb just 10 minutes from the city of Tequisquiapan. Villa Arcadia is a Tuscan style house built with local materials and the artisanal quality that is distinguished in the area. It is basically made with hand-carved gray ashlar walls, some flattened and some others apparent. The ceilings are made up of exposed beams and bricks in the shape of a petatillo. There are typical vaults of the region. The terracotta-colored clay floors match the color of the bricks in the ceilings. The carpentry is made from solid American oak wood and has some French stained-glass windows with Art Nouveau and Art Deco motifs. On the ground floor the house has a large living room, dining room and kitchen with another small dining room. It also has a library and a bedroom with bathroom. On the upper floor we find a study and two bedrooms that share a bathroom and dressing room. In addition, the house has a small loft that has independent access from the surrounding street. It has a full kitchen integrated into the living room and a bedroom on the second level. There is total independence between the house and this space, making it very convenient for visits or even rentals, whether for long or short periods.
