San Agustín is a nice residential area and a suburb of the capital, Palma de Mallorca, about 7 km from the historic center. In the surrounding area there is an international school as well as many restaurants and shops. In the immediate vicinity there is Cala Major, one of the oldest summer resorts of Majorca, with the summer residence of the Royal family at Marivent Palace. Here you will also find also a beautiful bay with a fine sandy beach. In addition to bathing, one can enjoy many activities such as sailing, diving and kite surfing at Playa de San Augustin.
