The Villa, La Filanda, is a former silk factory, pieds dans l'eau on the western shore of Lake Como. It is located in Brienno, a small village of Celtic origin. It is an ancient silk spinning mill dating back to the 17th century, beautifully and carefully renovated and transformed into a modern and welcoming place. A large and modern elevator at the level of the main street and of the garages connects the villa with one more large building that integrates the property. It was the site where families of filandiers used to live.
