Description
Located just outside the walls of the smallest city in Italy, Moncalvo.
The convent of ancient origin already existed in 1278 and belonged to the
Monks of Lucedio. It later passed to the Benedictines and towards the middle of the 16th century.
it was purchased by the Franciscan Minor Observants.
The Minori built extensions already in 1598 and then in 1607 the great one
Convent.
In the second half of the 19th century the entire complex was purchased by private individuals and
adapted to residence without distorting the conventual structure.
To complete the authentic work, a characteristic secular park of approx
8000 square meters bordered by ancient city walls, a service courtyard and garden
terraced in addition to the large brick barn.
