The meaning of Tankah in the Mayan language is "The center of the village", and was given to the settlement found in an area northeast of the town of Tulum, near Mayan ruins where it is believed there was an earlier population that preceded it. Today, Tankah Bay is surrounded by a beautiful beach, a magical cenote and the mouth of several freshwater canals, which form one of the longest underground river systems in the world.

With 13 units per tower, the project comprises 2 towers for a total of 26 apartments in 4 typologies: Garden, Middle, Stu-dio and Penthouse.
These buildings develop their architecture with sinuous shapes that resemble a yacht.
The curves of white as an envelope for the wooden volumes, the use of glass, the decoration and furnishings that go hand in hand with the character,
make this a project that stands out from those in the region. In addition, the facade, terrace, pool and bar are crowned by a unique metal structure whose morphology reinforces the architectural concept.
Tankah 52 also incorporates green technologies. It will save energy thanks to solar panels installed on its roof, reuse rainwater and grey water thanks to a collection system and treatment plant, in addition to water softeners, thermal insulation and equipment that help the building integrate with its environment as soon as the construction processes are implemented.
