DLUXE PRESENTS LA GARDENERA COUNTRY HOUSE FOR SALE WITH VIEWS OF MEDELLÍN, SANTA ELENA, ANTIOQUIA. The house sits on top of the mountain, contrasting its geometry with the organic nature of the Santa Elena landscape. The naturalness of the environment makes it possible to inhabit it as a home filled with natural light and gardens that allows each space of the house to be independent and separate from the others. On the outside, the house is perceived in two colors: the gray of the exposed concrete and the brown and orange of the boxes in the bedrooms and the living room. The decision was inspired by the mist that characterizes the sunrises in Santa Elena and the glow of the red and orange sunsets that can be perceived in the evenings from the house. Upon entering, a fountain flows perpendicularly through the house, crossing the living room area and ending just at the edge of the large window of the most impressive viewing point. The architectural composition inside begins with a long hallway, from which all the volumes that house the bedrooms, the living room, the kitchen, and the dining room branch off. The interior of the house features a series of rustic textures handcrafted using different application techniques with natural materials such as rammed earth and bahareque (adobe plaster) with earth. These techniques allow for the generation of warm atmospheres of light and shadow, as well as reflections on these textures.
