Description
The fifteenth-century Fornoni Giordani palace underwent a radical restoration in the last decade of the 18th century by the architect Vincenzo Berernzi, an adaptation to the neoclassical canons of the time, with the aim of transforming the ancient country residence of the Fornoni family into a stately palace.
The interiors were enriched with frescoes, the ceilings decorated with friezes and stuccos, the pillars of the portico covered with rusticated stones and finally a park full of essences and flowerbeds was created.
The property, currently privately owned, was partially renovated and adapted at the end of the 80s. The flavor and details have been almost completely preserved.
The geographical position of the property, enviable for its centrality and services within easy reach, guarantees the buyer multiple developments at the real estate level and transformation of use. Property protected by the Superintendency of Cultural Heritage which has already been the subject of a detailed total survey and preliminary assessment on the feasibility of transformation and renovation in 2023 by the Municipality of Gussago and the Local Superintendent.
