In 1998, on an old construction, she prepared the land, designed the Cortijo, planted more than a hundred trees, and in the year 2000, La Joya del Cabo de Gata was inaugurated, an ecological and bioclimatic construction, with a dual function: a place to live in a protected area, an oasis of peace where you can breathe beauty and have endless conversations in its magical sunsets, and an exclusive luxury tourist accommodation, for those seeking sea and mountain, peace, silence, and well-being.
The complex consists of a Main House, 208 m2, with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, a Guest House, 80 m2, with one bedroom and two bathrooms, and a Arabian-style Jaima Suite, 45 m2, which combines exoticism with comfort, with one bedroom and one bathroom equipped with kitchen and private bathroom. These constructions are located on a 10,000 m2 plot, where you can also enjoy its lush gardens, Phoenician pool, and Jacuzzi.
The construction adapts to the climate, oriented to effortlessly combat heat and cold, taking advantage of natural light, with maximum energy savings, achieving a comfortable environment in any season, without the need for forced air conditioning. The ecological gardens surrounding the property, with palm trees, olive trees, cypresses, and a fruit orchard, were designed to harmoniously integrate with the Mediterranean climate, prioritizing sustainability.
The Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park is one of the most surprising landscapes that immerse into the desert lands of Almeria, a unique landscape in Europe, with paradisiacal beaches and coves that are an antistress antidote. But also, the white villages of this territory stand out, such as Agua Amarga, just 2.5 km away, a charming fishing village with shops, restaurants, and businesses where authenticity is part of the charm.
