- Legend has it that a man, drunk, was crossing the frozen lake in winter, from the tip of Isella in Annone, when suddenly the ice broke and he landed on a square rock, thus discovering what were later believed to be the remains of a bridge that, in ancient times, would have united the two shores of the lake. Indeed, something really is there: near the shore of Annone there are large square stones that emerge from the water, while - in the rare days when the lake water is clear - other submerged stones are visible from the surface, thanks to the shallow depth of the lake.
