Description
Located at the top of the renowned and charming village of Neive, next to the San Rocco gate, one of the ancient entrances to the Borgo, we have the honor of offering you Palazzo Demaria, a prestigious residence from the 16th century. Historical documentation tells of a nobleman Giovanni Demaria called "l'aromatario", informed of the beauty of the place, decided, from Cavallermaggiore in 1614 to settle in the elegant residence. For many decades after, it became the main residence of the Demaria Counts. Its current appearance is due to careful and continuous conservative renovation work undertaken over time from the 17th century to today. Inside the building, the architectural elements of the period are recognizable such as decorations and frescoes with subjects inspired by nature, terracotta floors, ceramics and nailed wood that embellish the noble building. Going outside, enclosed within the walls, extends the sumptuous park of about 2,000 square meters, in which you can enjoy the view of shades of green donated by the lush shrubs and centuries-old trees of rare size that surround the enchanting swimming pool. Palazzo Demaria guarantees absolute privacy despite its central location, its magnificent and dominant view of the hills and valleys of the Langhe, makes the property one of a kind.
