Description
The farmhouse, located in the municipality of San Giovanni d'Asso and is part of a larger estate, at an altitude of 320 meters above sea level, about 1200 meters from the main road “Traversa dei Monti” from where, via a private dirt road, is directly accessible.

San Giovanni d'Asso is located 50km from Siena, the administrative center of the county, and places of interest such as Pienza, San Quirico and Montepulciano are no more than 30Km far. The nearest motorway exit is in Bettolle that is 25Km far and the Chiusi station, from which you can reach Florence, Rome and Milan, is located 55Km away. The seaside town of Castiglione della Pescaia is approximately 100 km far, while the small ski resort of Monte Amiata is 60Km far.
Description and status
Said complex, presumably built in the early nineteenth century, it consists of a main building that houses two homes respectively 235 square meters and 122 square meters and some rural outbuildings respectively of 267, 145, 75, 67, 30, 70 and 23 square meters. These buildings today while being usable need of extraordinary maintenance to be used according to current standards. Despite being currently used, such buildings all require extraordinary maintenance for adapting to the general standards of use. The buildings have a bearing structure and external walls of brick, slabs of between floors and wooden roof and roof cladding in shingles and tiles. The buildings are equipped with water and electricity. The floors are original terracotta and plaster are traditional lime mortar to be reviewed. The windows are wooden. The electrical systems are to be reviewed. The buildings are not equipped with heating. The bathrooms have all the elements for their use, as well as kitchens. The buildings are located on a private land of 4340sqm.
Potential use
Once renovated this farmhouse with outbuildings could be used both as a residence for the employees so as to be on site for the work in the fields or as part of a broader accommodation deployed in various parts of the countryside of San Giovanni d'Asso.
