In February 2025, it had a right to information process for the intention to build a private condominium with six semi-detached houses with a garden, communal swimming pool and surface parking, as in the preliminary project delivered in the annex. In this process, it obtained information from CMSintra that the aforementioned claim should proceed to PIP or licensing.
Pero Pinheiro is a parish in the municipality of Sintra. The importance of Pero Pinheiro at the local and regional level arose from the limestone richness (marble) of its subsoil, from whose exploitation arose a dynamic industry that generated the largest centre for the transformation of ornamental stones in Portugal and one of the largest in Europe. This industrial centre has about 300 small and medium-sized companies, which are dedicated to the transformation of marble and granite and which are the main economic and social pillar of the region.
