Milatos is a seaside village, located between Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos. The village has a beach, a fantastic small fishing port and other rocky beaches around it. There are amazing fish taverns on the beach and also a kafeneion in the village. A lot of traditional houses have been renovated in this picturesque place in a way that keeps the original character of the community alive. In the village there is also a cave and a very nice route for hiking, offering a panoramic view.
