Description
Listed Modernist House within the Architectural Heritage of Cassà de la Selva, consists of ground floor and two floors for housing, with glazed ceramic roof.
The Ground Floor is composed of different large rooms connected by large wooden doors and stained glass windows, ceilings with moldings and hydraulic floors, in one of the rooms we can see a magnificent fireplace made of hand-carved wood and antique lamps, a coal origin kitchen or currently there is the boiler, a pantry and a small bathroom. This floor used to be a leather workshop, some rehabilitation would be necessary.
We access the second floor by a wooden staircase that serves as the main axis of the building, three large bedrooms and an open space with hydraulic floors and ceilings with moldings that used to be 2 more bedrooms and a bathroom.
Currently under the roof there is the kitchen, living room, two large bedrooms and a bathroom, low ceilings have been used to create different storage spaces.
The house is surrounded by a 1000 m² garden with a stone fountain that gives it an extra touch of personality.
Cassà de la Selva is a municipality in the Gironès located at the foot of les Gavarres, 10 minutes from Girona and 17 minutes from Girona Costa-Brava Airport and the beaches.
