Description
CHARMING HOUSE WITH PLENTY OF PRIVACY AND LOCATED IN AN IDYLLIC LOCATION AT THE FOOT OF THE SCHOORL DUNES!
Attention all those seeking peace and freedom! In a fantastic location with the Schoorl Dunes literally next door, we are offering this DETACHED HOUSE. Wake up to the sound of birds singing and, once awake, put on your walking shoes for a brisk stroll through the highest and widest dunes in the Netherlands. After half an hour's walk (or less than 10 minutes by bike) through this beautiful area, you will find yourself on the wide beach. It goes without saying that this is a dream location for nature lovers!
The house has a spacious living room with separate kitchen on the ground floor and three bedrooms with bathroom on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is an additional bathroom (in the former utility room) and a separate toilet and shower.
The cosy centre of the village (Groet) is approximately 350 metres from the house and has all basic amenities such as a local supermarket, GP practice, various restaurants and a bicycle rental. The villages of Schoorl and Bergen are approximately 10 and 20 minutes by bike respectively and offer a diverse range of shops, many restaurants, climbing dunes and the Kranenburgh museum. Bergen has a weekly market, various evening markets in the summer and the Kunst10daagse art festival in September.
There is a good bus connection to the train station in Alkmaar and by car you can reach the A9 (Haarlem/Schiphol/Amsterdam) in about 30 minutes via the N9.
