The area has a wide range of outdoor activities: treking, cycling, golf, kite and windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, parachuting;

Access to the Alvor area is easy, with the Via do Infante (A22) 5 min by car and the A2 to Lisbon 25 min. The Portimão airfield, with daily domestic flights, is less than 5 minutes away and Faro airport is 50 minutes away.
