In the heart of the Ugento natural park, a few steps from the beaches of Torre San Giovanni, in a spectacular and panoramic position, is the Villa Fontanelle. The surrounding garden is a paradise of monumental plants, of the Mediterranean scrub, some of great value, all enclosed in a high and secure fence, composed of a part in dry stone wall, in some sections over three meters high, surmounted by metal mesh. The entrance gate is imposing and opens onto a driveway finished in local stone that runs the entire length of the property. The differences in level in the land are such as to form natural cavities where a swimming pool can be added without the need for any excavation, maintaining the sea view and the infinite effect of the water.
The terrace overlooking the sea is unforgettable. The view is enriched by the municipal pine forest, the hill and the town of the Torre San Giovanni marina, in the distance.
Thanks to its rock garden, flanked by the planted one, this property communicates a unique and unrepeatable character. The colors range decisively from the dominant green, to the Caribbean blue of the sea, to the gray of the sunny stone, which is tinged with orange at sunset.A retreat in nature, which gives emotion.
