Description
Nestled in the hills of the Oltrepò Pavese, at approximately 350 meters above sea level, along the Ardivestra Valley toward Rocca Susella, we find this ancient building and landscape complex, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Imagine finding yourself in a small village: the main residence, the ancient well building, a third building, the oldest and yet to be renovated, and then the outbuildings, the most interesting surprises of these dwellings. A series of characteristic external staircases leads to the annex, the covered terrace, and the vaulted cellar with exposed brickwork, complete with an "infernòt," a unique architectural feature typical of the Monferrato area, consisting of small, hand-dug underground chambers whose unique shape helps maintain the wine at the right temperature and preservation. The main house is on two levels. We pass under the portico and enter the ground floor: in addition to the entrance hall, there are three adjoining rooms: a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. A monumental stone fireplace was added during the renovation, and the living room is tiled with decorative tiles. The first floor houses the sleeping area, with three bedrooms and a separate bathroom. From the entrance, a secluded staircase leads to a tranquil oasis consisting of a bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom. Numerous windows with wooden frames and arched vaults make all the rooms very bright. The second building is a classic country house retreat; the staircase leads to a large attic room with exposed beams and a rustic feel, complete with a kitchen and bathroom. From here we access the covered terrace, with spectacular panoramic views of the hills. The ground-floor space, formerly a stable, is a pleasant and unexpected surprise: numerous pillars support the exposed brick vaults, and the original terracotta flooring—unique features that lend these spaces great charm. Furthermore, since the space includes a bathroom with shower and heating, we have additional living space. The complex is intended for residential use, with the advantage that the structured layout of the various buildings offers the opportunity to use, in addition to the main residence, living spaces with independent entrances. We are thinking of those who need a workshop, a study, or simply a space to dedicate to friends, visitors, or even themselves. If desired, it could also be used as an inn for select clients. Further details and more precise information (urban planning, condition, and types of systems) will be documented and detailed upon request to those genuinely interested.--0b26ed4d4fb9b4f81a29dfa1dc101f30!
