Description
Located on a calm, tree-lined street, this residence designed by Ruy Ohtake was fully renovated by Rodrigo Ohtake, preserving the legacy of brutalist architecture while incorporating contemporary solutions focused on comfort and functionality. The landscaping, signed by Burle Marx, remains in perfect harmony with the architecture, unfolding from the entrance to the heated pool, nestled among jabuticaba trees. The renovation introduced new elements such as a gourmet area, solarium with hot tub, and sauna, as well as strategically placed openings in the concrete structure to enhance natural lighting. All plumbing and electrical systems were modernized, and the property now includes solar heating, air conditioning in all rooms, and automation in areas such as the glass-covered garden. The project highlights architectural aesthetics while prioritizing functionality and seamless integration with the landscape.
