Mád is the most dynamically developing settlement which has now become the leading wine village in the Tokaj wine region.
Mád is one of the gems of Tokaj Wine Region, stands out with its unique tourist and gastronomic attractions and the natural beauties of the village and surrounding area. Mád is getting closer and closer to become a modern gastronomic and tourist center on a regional scale, building on the traditional values of the village.
This boutique winery was built in 2008 by the current owners within a 5-minute walk of the village center.
It consists of a 178-square-meter cellar and processing plant, a 125-square-meter catering tasting room, and a 40-square-meter covered panoramic terrace with beautiful views of vineyard. You can enjoy the wonderful sunset with a glass of wine or celebrate with friends after a successful harvest.
The newly built 60 sqm processing plant is connected in an "L" shape to the renovated old farmhouse, where the pressed grapes can get into the cellar by gravity. There are refrigerated metal tanks in the 60-square-meter bottling room in the cellar, as well as a 20-meter-long maturing cellar for 60 pieces of 500-liter wooden barrels and a 57 m2 bottle storage room. The plot can be accessed from two streets.
