Description
The history of the Arenys de Ampurdan estate begins in 1876. The first owner of the parcel, Jose Serra, went to conquer America and lived for a long time in Cuba; upon his return to Spain, he bought a fortress with a parcel. He decided to build a house by the river. The construction was completed in 1877.
The house is built in an eclectic style. The property's structure is in perfect condition.
The main house, measuring 487m2 with the possibility of an increase of 150m2, is a detached mansion located near the Arenys castle. It consists of a 120m2 garage (shed) from which the staff has two rooms of 40-50m2.
On the ground floor, there are two covered galleries with a terrace above at the same height as the first floor. The second floor has exits to terraces from two opposite sides and from two others. And on the roof of the house, there is a centered upper tower with semicircular window openings.
It has a total of 9,5 hectares of land, classified as rustic agricultural land, forest, and riverbank (the installation of demountable wooden houses is possible).
