This marvellous villa of great prestige, built at the beginning of the 18th century, incorporates an original nucleus dating back to at least the previous century, an old farmhouse that bears witness to the deep historical roots of this residence. Towards the end of the 18th century it was enriched by the splendid neoclassical façade, which still today elegantly dominates the surrounding landscape.
The villa, located in Piano di Sorrento, in the heart of the Sorrento Peninsula - the legendary Land of the Sirens - was the refined hillside residence of the Massa family, former owners of a seaside villa on the renowned Riviera Massa, overlooking the Sorrento coast, and of the historic residence in Via Bagnulo, in the town centre.

Particularly valuable are the carefully restored and repositioned 18th-century majolica floor tiles, with depictions inspired by Phaedrus' fables, made by renowned Neapolitan master tile makers of the time. The neoclassical arches of the main façade, also carefully restored, enhance the architectural harmony of the entire complex.
A major restoration project also involved the courtyard and surrounding grounds, which had been degraded by decades of neglect: the Vesuvian basalt paving was entirely dismantled and replaced using traditional techniques. Also of great historical value is the Gentile Chapel, restored to its ancient splendour thanks to meticulous conservative restoration.
The Villa has four suites, each offering a perfect balance of modern comfort and historical charm. Three suites are located on the highest floor of the main building, accessible by an internal staircase or lift, and one independent suite is located outside.
The three indoor suites offer a king-size double bed, whirlpool bath, bathroom with shower and a shared outdoor space. The outdoor suite, which is larger and more versatile, comprises an open space with a living area, king-size double bed, a small bedroom with a single bed, bathroom with shower and whirlpool bath.
All suites are equipped with an indoor Jacuzzi, air conditioning, flat-screen television, minibar and domotic lighting system.
To complete the sensory and wellness experience, the Villa houses a modern spa with sauna, Turkish bath and Jacuzzi, and a wonderful bio-lake surrounded by vegetation, recently created to offer an oasis of peace and relaxation.
