Description
Strevi, a D.O.C. wine-growing area and Slow Food presidium. In this setting, surrounded by hills covered with vineyards, we present a historic winery with over 3 hectares of Muscat da Passito vineyards, 4,000 square metres of Freisa and another 7,000 square metres of Chardonnay and Muscat, as well as the manor house and all the agricultural buildings.
The entrance opens onto the courtyard, where we immediately find a structure that houses three garages, a huge warehouse of about 220 square metres, with an approved project to develop another level, the living area on two levels and the period house with an open courtyard with arches, which is truly impressive.
The courtyard is overlooked by two open storage rooms and a former stable with cross vaults, surmounted by a beautiful arched barn, a bathroom and a characteristic tavern with a huge wood-burning oven used as a tasting room.
On the other side is the entrance to the older living area with a central stone staircase, kitchen with fireplace, living room also with stone fireplace, beautiful frescoed cross vaults and old cement tile floors; all connected by a corridor to the cellar area. In this area, heating is provided only by stoves/fireplaces.
The heart of the business, the cellar with brick vaults, houses the winemaking equipment. Then there is a wonderful infernot with historic bottles.
There is also a room used as a farming museum, which boasts a beautiful collection of period objects, and a further huge warehouse.
Returning to the living area on the first floor, climbing the stone staircase, we find the sleeping area consisting of six bedrooms, all equipped with beautiful marble fireplaces, mixed cementine or marble floors and characteristic cross or barrel vaults, some of which are frescoed. The first bedroom we encounter has a small private bathroom from the 1990s and a balcony, the second has a frescoed ceiling, and then we have three walk-through bedrooms, while the last room has direct access from the internal courtyard via a balcony and another staircase to the lower floor. Also on this floor is another room with access to the former kitchen, now used as a storage room.
There is a staircase to the mezzanine floor with a large bathroom with a bathtub and 1990s finishes, and further up to the second floor is the current residential apartment.
This older part has mixed finishes and is generally in need of renovation, but the overall structure is good and the roofs were redone in 2000.
The flat on the second floor consists of two frescoed bedrooms, one with a balcony, a study, a large kitchen with a balcony, a living room with a characteristic tree in the centre and access to a garden via a beautiful terrace. There is also a pantry/laundry room and a 1990s bathroom with a shower, as well as a very large main bathroom with a bathtub.
The finishes here are refined, with terracotta or parquet floors, frescoed ceilings, air conditioning and fireplaces in all rooms, double-glazed wooden window frames and heating via stoves and a boiler.

There is also an attic floor with usable height at the ridge.
A great opportunity for those who want to produce DOC wine with a variety of possibilities, from a simple wine cellar to accommodation. All the tools and machinery for winemaking are also included, and the winery is part of the ASSOCIAZIONE PRODUTTORI DELLA VALLE BAGNARIO (Association of Producers of the Bagnario Valley) in Strevi, founded in 2004 by the area's historic winegrowers, a guarantee of continuity and protection of ancient winemaking traditions, without forgetting the enhancement and promotion of its wonderful hills.
The 34,090 m² plot of land has two wells, one of which is an artesian well 109 metres deep, an Imoff pit, the municipal aqueduct and, of course, electricity.
