Description
The property we are offering combines privacy, comfort and a beautiful view of Lake Annone. The villa, built in the early 1970s, is located in a quiet and secluded position and stands out for its spacious interior and exterior spaces.
The living spaces, characterised by colours chosen by the architect at the time of design, consist of two independent apartments, ideal for multiple families or as a mixed residential and investment solution.
The first apartment is on two levels: on the ground floor there is a living area consisting of an airy living room, a kitchen and a bathroom; the special feature of this level is the large sun terrace with a wonderful view, which can be enjoyed with family and friends. On the upper floor there is a double bedroom, a second bathroom and three other rooms that can be customised according to your needs; here too, the view and the outdoor space are an added bonus.
The second apartment, with independent entrance, consists of a living room with kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a laundry area; it is perfect for guests or as a source of income, thanks also to the lake view. The well-planted garden is partly flat and partly sloping.
The property has been well maintained over the years, with the roof completely redone in 2010 and the sturdy windows and doors, in perfect condition, replaced about ten years ago. The apartments have radiator heating systems and are autonomous and independent.
The view of Lake Annone, which can be enjoyed from most rooms in the house, offers indescribable sunsets and sunrises, making every day unique. The location is ideal for reaching major cities such as Lecco, Como and Milan, as well as all the towns on Lake Como.
Sala la Barro is a charming municipality located in a panoramic position in the hills of Lecco, overlooking the picturesque Lake Annone and just a few minutes from the shores of the renowned Lake Como. This corner of Lombardy is particularly appreciated by nature lovers for its breathtaking landscapes and wide variety of outdoor activities. Among the must-see destinations are the Monte Barro Natural Park, a protected area offering spectacular views of the surrounding lakes and mountains, and the cycle path that circles Lake Annone. The numerous hiking trails and equipped climbing cliffs offer ideal opportunities to enjoy the mountains in every season.
The town's strategic location allows easy access to many places of interest. Lecco is only 14 minutes away by car, while Como and Lake Como can be reached in about 30 minutes (28 km). Milan and its international airports (Malpensa and Linate) are about an hour away, as is the Swiss city of Lugano with its regional airport. In winter, the famous ski resorts of St. Moritz (CH), Bormio, Madesimo and Livigno are easily accessible within 2-3 hours by car.
The village offers all the main services for residents and visitors: schools, municipal library and cultural centre, sports facilities (gyms, sports field, swimming pool nearby), post office, bank, pharmacy and basic health services and clinics.
The Sala al Barro area also boasts a number of historical and cultural attractions, such as the octagonal Romanesque Baptistery of St. John the Baptist and, nearby, the precious works of Marco d'Oggiono (a pupil of Leonardo da Vinci) and Andrea Appiano, housed in the church of Sant'Eufemia in the village of Oggiono.
Sala al Barro combines the tranquillity and beauty of the natural landscape with the comforts and amenities of modern centres, making it an ideal choice for both everyday living and as a second home surrounded by nature.
