In summer, a goods road leads directly to the hut - ideal for arriving in comfort or running errands in the valley. Just a few minutes away is the village center of Leogang with shops, restaurants and cozy inns as well as the mountain lifts, which open up unlimited leisure opportunities in summer and winter.
In winter, the Schwarzleotal valley shows its quiet side: when the landscape rests under a glistening blanket of snow, you can reach the hut after a 30-minute ski tour or winter hike - a very special experience for nature lovers. The famous Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski region is just a short drive away and offers fun on the slopes at the highest level.

At 1,200 meters above sea level, in the middle of the idyllic Schwarzleotal valley, it is located all to itself - with a magnificent view of the Leoganger Steinberge mountains and surrounded by pure tranquillity. The hut was built in 1948 and lovingly renovated in 2019, retaining all of its original charm.
Upon entering the hut, you enter the cozy living room and lounge with a large table and a stove - a place to arrive, sit together and unwind. From here, a separate door leads into the dining area, which is equipped with an original wood-burning stove that can also be used for cooking. From the dining area, you have direct access to the balcony, where the view opens up over the impressive Leogang mountains and you can enjoy the peace and space of nature to the full. Adjacent to the dining area is the small, functional kitchen - practically designed and equipped with everything you need for life in the mountains.
The alpine hut offers a total of four bedrooms, one of which has a bunk bed, and space for up to ten people. The two bathrooms are modern and furnished with great attention to detail - one with a shower, the other with a bath and shower. After a day in the fresh mountain air, this is just the right place to relax. Traditional heating is provided by wood and radiators, while underfloor heating provides pleasant warmth in the bathrooms.
There is also a wooden platform outside - ideal for sunbathing, reading or a yoga session in the clear mountain air. From April to November, depending on the weather, you can drive up to the hut by car. In the winter months, the path itself becomes an experience: you can park further down in the valley and reach the hut after a 30-minute ski tour or winter hike.
This alpine hut is not a place for a short weekend trip, but a home for people who love the unspoilt, seek peace and quiet and see the mountains as a way of life. Fully furnished, cozy and equipped with everything you need, it offers the perfect blend of tradition and comfort. The hut is only available to permanent tenants who want to enjoy this special place on a long-term basis.
