Solar da Venda is a building dating from the late nineteenth century, early twentieth century located in the parish of Louredo da Serra, municipality of Paredes, district of Porto. This construction appears inserted in the Sierra de Santiago in the middle of the Romantic Route. This building was transformed into a Climate Resort in the late 1920s. It is a markedly revivalist building manifested in an eclecticism of "styles" well in the taste of the twenties of the last century, having as a basis of inspiration two orientations: the northern manor houses of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and the dominated "style D. It later functioned as a sanatorium for the treatment of tuberculosis benefiting from the climate and sun exposure of this prime location.
