Land Available in Queenstown, New Zealand

Expressions of interest are sought for the formation of a joint venture entity to purchase and develop 25 hectares of newly zoned development land suitable for residential and business use in Cromwell, Central Otago.

The land is currently utilized as viticultural land by the landmark Wooing Tree Vineyard who operates a working vineyard, cellar door and wedding venue. With the introduction of both residential and commercial zoning, the site brings an opportunity for high quality traveller's accommodation with associated tourist oriented "vineyard village" themed retail and commercial activities in a manner that complements other business activities in Cromwell.

Located between State Highway 6, State Highway 8, the site is bounded to the north and east by large lot residential development with the Cromwell CBD just over 200 metres away.

Wooing Tree produces world renowned wine and will still continue to operate its cellar door on site.

A total of 210 residential allotments can be developed, with the remaining 2.47ha of the proposed village allocated to commercial activity. With population growth of 68 percent over the past two censuses, Cromwell has experienced the largest growth in the Central Otago region. As a result, what was once a service town has become a vibrant community with population forecast to double over the next 30 years.

Please contact the agent for further information on this offer. Wooing Tree's wine business and brand is not for sale.

Farquharson Holdings Limited are seeking a non-binding indication from parties as to whether they would be interested in the possibility of forming a joint venture entity to purchase and develop the Wooing Tree vineyard. No offer of shares in a company is currently being made and there is no obligation or commitment to acquire shares at this time. No money is currently being sought in respect of shares and if an offer is made it will be made in accordance with the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013.
