Carraig Ridge is a hub of contemporary architecture, set in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in southern Alberta. 9 Carraig Ridge is 3.63 acres on a south facing slope falling from 1,338 to 1,318 metres and is designated for a Meadow Retreat. Meadow Retreats are a single story up to 2,500 square feet with the back sunken into the hillside. 9 Carraig Ridge has views to the south and west towards Ghost Lake and the mountains of Kananaskis. Immediately in front of the retreat is a gently sloping meadow with a walking trail along the base extending north and south through Carriag Ridge. The slope opposite is covered with aspen and spruce, is frequented by deer and the occasional mule deer and is adjacent to a seasonal elk migration route.
