They replaced the trellis and plant selection and designed the vineyard to achieve optimal quality from the ground up. The trellis is a VSP (vertical shoot position) system which is common in parts of Europe as well as the North Coast. This system allows manipulation of the canopy in order to attain optimal sunlight exposure, shade at the correct time of day and ultimately peak color, tannin and ripeness. They selected non-production style root stalks and clones which will produce a less vigorous canopy and yield fewer yet more intense clusters of fruit ideal for premium wines. They proudly farm the vineyard using the sustainable practices certified through the Lodi rules. This means that they monitor water usage, use fewer and lower toxicity pesticides, preserve and enhance the soil as well as the natural habitat surrounding the vineyard and ensure that employees are treated fairly. Aaron Shin continues to be the vineyard manager and is committed to consistently deliver the highest quality fruit possible. A dedicated game room, formal dining room and formal living room offer additional space to choose from for relaxing or spending time together. There is a large laundry room that leads to the full bathroom with a walk-in full shower; a perfect changing station for the pool/spa or clean up area after gardening. Everything about this estate is great for families, couples, or friends spending time together.
