The city of eternal spring is composed of a very unique geography which gives way to 7 gullies , on the edge of the Amanalco gorge ( which houses the former residence in exile of the Sha of Iran) lays this spectacular and eclectic residence. A few meters from the gardens of Acapatzingo, Morelos, is the entrance to the second private of Morelos guarded by security guards. A cobblestone path full of beautiful vegetation leads us to its discreet facade. Once the main door opens, its long, white corridor leads us to its beautiful triple height hall and social área, with a spectacular view of the canyon that takes our breath away. The temperate climate that prevails most of the year in this área allowed such a particular construction; open living room, dining room and hall without any doors nor windows, ceiling fans and splendid siso curtains that fall from 8 meters high. In the center we find a wonderful infinity pool with terrace and sundeck. All the floors in this residence are made of travertine marble from Puebla and red tinted polished cement. On the right hand side we have a formal dining room, with its barbecue grill at the end and a small planter of aromatic herbs for cooking (Rosemary, lavender, basil, mint, peppermint, and oregano among others) and next door a family room to watch televisión, and within the same a small office with a full bathroom with shower. To the left we have the formal living room and to one side the kitchen that is a true oasis for those who like the culinary arts, with a huge pantry, 4 sinks and generous spaces for the preparation of food and drinks. Its appliances consist of Coriat industrial stove, SobrinoX refrigerator and dishwasher, the covers are made of white stone. Climbing up a wonderful travertine marble staircase and wrought iron railing as well as its chandelier in the center o fan impressive skylight, on the upper floor we have 3 spacious bedrooms ( two of them with walk-in closet and fireplace), all with en suite bathroom, double sink, tub and shower, skylights that allow the passage of natural light and ceiling fans as well as air conditioners for the warmest days. On that same floor we have an informal living room with a fireplace and a bar área with a pool table, covered with a spectacular Polynesian-style palapa. Taking stairs to the lower floors, we have another recreational área, a large library with a full bathroom with tub and shower. At the exit of this room we have a charming terrace to enjoy the view of the canyon which leads us to a fourth guest room with a full bathroom. It is worth mentioning that all the bathrooms have travertine marble on floors and walls, 9mm tempered glass doors and the covers of the sinks are made of Emperor brown marble. Continuing down the stairs , we find a fountain with a curtain of wáter, and we arrive at the first stage of the gardens, with children's games and well-cared for plants and fruit trees. Its service área is friendly and functional. It has private parking for 2 large cars. Its current owners keep it impeccably. It has an hydro-pneumatic pump, a large capacity cistern and 18 solar panels for optimal energy consumption. Designed and built in the 90¨s by renowned decorator Richard ¨Dick¨ White, who also built the famous Hotel Maximilian's ( which used to be his private residence ). Functional and bright, this home is a masterpiece!
