Description
Conversano the Masseria di Castiglione is a building of 19th century origin that stands at the base of the promontory where the tower of the same name is located, a defense settlement dating back to 200 BC From an ancient peasant house it has been transformed into a residence and preserved in its original form without any alteration, respecting both the environment and the surrounding nature. The Masseria overlooks a garden that divides it from six trulli connected to each other and is surrounded by fruit trees, almond trees, cherry trees and wheat fields and has a pine forest.
Specifically, it is an ancient farmhouse complex consisting of a period building on two levels (ground / 1st floor) of about 600 square meters with a sheepfold, a small church and a group of 6 trulli.
