The Wall of Valenca:

This is a jewel of military architecture (candidate for World Heritage by UNESCO), 5.5 km long.

The buildings are located in the oldest part of the wall, i.e., in the original core of the town, facing the River Mino, the emblematic Eiffel Bridge and the monumental city of Tui, in Galicia.

The entire wall of Valenca was one of the first monuments in the country to be classified (as early as 1910) as a National Monument.

The entire town within the walls has been classified.

The entire intra-wall area already has all the modern infrastructure of cable TV and internet, natural gas, electricity and sanitation, a co-project of urban requalification executed by Eduardo Souto de Moura.

Valenca do Minho:

In addition to its natural beauty and cultural heritage, it is in a strategic urban geographical location. It is in the centre of seven cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants,

Valenca is considered, by urban planning experts from Portugal and Spain, one of the 'Potential Cities' of the northwest of the Peninsula.

With four international airports nearby and served by motorway to all the cities,

Valencia is also an important station on the Porto-Vigo railway line as well as a transit point for the planned high-speed railway line.
