Quinta do Tarejo is located on the limits of the place of Monte Gordo, in the parish of Sobral da Abelheira, municipality of Mafra, with access from the Municipal Road nº 551 (EM 551), which involves the entire southern part of the land along about 800 meters in addition to another confrontation to the East in about 100 meters.
This farm - CASAL VELHO - with 31.03 hectares, was a reference name in the region's agriculture, but for about 20 years it has not been the object of any type of agricultural exploitation, other than the cutting of eucalyptus.

The Tourist Village is developed in an area of 16.45 hectares, located in the western area of Quinta do Tarejo. It foresees the construction of 64 villas, in addition to the common urban infrastructures, and seeks to create a village environment with the houses organised in nuclei respecting the traditional architecture, although with all the modern comforts. The nuclei of houses present a great typological and formal variety, created intentionally, which is expressed in the way the constructions are grouped, thus ensuring that the concept of rurality is always present. These usually have two floors, a situation resulting from the morphology of the terrain. The set of accommodation units - 14 T2 + 25 T3 + 25 T4 = 64 houses.
