This is a project by architect Siza Vieira, one of the most world wide recognized contemporary portuguese architect.
This apartment stands out in layout, lighting, textures and materials. The building has an elevator, eight floors and ten apartments. The main entrance is in Rua do Carmo and a second entrance is located at the top of the building, leading to a walkway between the Elevator of Santa Justa and Largo do Carmo (Carmo's Square), just a few meters away from Travessa do Carmo where the apartament's garage is located.

From its windows you can see the Elevador de S. Justa, also known as the Elevador do Carmo, and the Castelo de S. Jorge, an historical reference. A few meters, the Convento do Carmo, one of the most beautiful and important religious buildings.

There is a lot more to be said about this fantastic location, the history and the quality of its construction but for that I will be waiting for your visit.
