No two people have the same path, and no two agents are the same.
From a young age, she was passionate about real estate. Sundays were often spent window shopping at open houses with her mom, tuning into HGTV religiously, and snooping around to find out what the neighbor's home sold for. But despite the interest, she was shy and assumed that real estate was a career meant only for big personalities and slick sales tactics. So, for a long time, it remained just a hobby.
When it came time to choose a post-secondary path, she wasn’t sure what or who she wanted to be. She opted for a practical route and pursued a degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Over the course of the program, she explored a wide range of subjects including ecology, economics, land development, geography, demographics, statistics, architecture, and infrastructure. By the end of the four years, she was a Jill-of-all-trades and no longer shy.
Although she had the option to pursue a Master's degree or specialize further, she wanted something more hands-on and fulfilling. She wanted a career that allowed her to apply all the knowledge she had gathered, use it daily, and make a meaningful impact. That’s when it clicked- real estate!
Real estate transactions are often the biggest financial decisions in a person's life. They require a deep understanding of the area—from transit systems and infrastructure to environmental concerns, development plans, and demographics. She realized that her background and genuine nature could offer clients something truly valuable. Instead of being a typical salesperson, she positioned herself as an advisor and it worked.
Now, as a real estate Broker, she combines her character, expertise, research skills, and personal experience to help savvy young professionals take their first steps and next steps on the property ladder.
