Herdade dos Vicentes, 64 ha of land, is located in the parish of Terena, in the municipality of Alandroal, in Evora. It mainly consists of holm oak forests (a type of cork oak forest), but more than 50% of the area can be used to grow vines, as there are fewer holm oaks in that area. The estate's soils are predominantly schist, which can be favourable for the cultivation of certain crops, such as vines. The estate has an old borehole, equipped with solar panels and a pump. Currently, it is used to provide grazing water for livestock. Recently, a new borehole has been drilled, which delivers more than 12,000 litres of water per hour. It is important to highlight that there is no existing building on the estate. However, it is possible to build on any part of the property, since it is entirely outside the areas classified as REN (National Ecological Reserve) and RAN (National Agricultural Reserve). According to the PDM (Municipal Master Plan), a construction area of almost 2,000 sqm is allowed. There is a recent Previous Information Request (PIP). This property has enormous potential for the development of a hotel unit.
