'Herdade das Figueiras', with an area of 53 hectares and 1 ruined traditional Alentejo house / hill, is located in the municipality of Alandroal, in the district of Evora, in the Alentejo. From a morphological point of view, the property is flat with small hills. It is made up of Holm oak groves and water ponds and is rectangular in shape.
The hill, with its 101 m2 of implantation area, will be restored and raised from its base to a height of up to 6.5 metres. From the property, you can glimpse an indescribable landscape, overlooking the immensity of the plain, with the medieval town of Monsaraz as a backdrop.
We must emphasise its strong potential for setting up a rural tourism unit on this estate, given its proximity to the largest artificial lake in Europe (Alqueva). Access is via a tarmac road and a passable dirt track. Electricity is very close by.
Given the quality of the soil, Herdade das Figueiras is perfectly suited to raising horses and sheep. For this purpose, it needs to be fenced and parked.
