In 2024 alone, she closed the two highest-priced residential sales ever recorded in the state: a $14 million estate in October 2024, followed by a landmark $15.85 million sale in November 2024. Before these historic transactions, the record was set at $9.6 million - a sale she also closed in March 2023 in Buncombe County. Adding to her impressive achievements, she successfully represented both the buyer and the seller in a $9.3 million sale in Transylvania County.

An eighth-generation Western North Carolinian, Marilyn pairs unmatched regional insight with over 15 years of experience leading one of the area's largest luxury homebuilding firms. She has overseen site selection, architectural review, design and construction in top-tier communities, including Biltmore Lake, The Ramble and Biltmore Forest.
Outside of real estate, Marilyn enjoys hiking, biking, traveling, gardening and spending time in national parks. She proudly served on the board of Friends of the Smokies, supporting the preservation of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is a current Tiffany Circle member with the American Red Cross. Marilyn resides in Asheville with her husband, Tim. They have three adult children, and their two cherished Labradors, Lady Magdalene and Caesar Gunnison, lovingly known as Maggie and Gunny.
