ОПИСАНИЕ
The Fogo Natura Azores Tourist Enterprise is a unique project that aims to preserve the memory of 'Quinta do Cavaco', a property with 18,240m2 with landscape, environmental and architectural framework representative of the region, integrating the elements proposed in the existing environmental and landscape context, and highlighting the ecological concern and sustainability of the project that aims to develop.
The proposal was developed, on the basis of a programme based on a qualified tourist exploration of low occupancy index and taking into account the morphologies characteristics of the land, such as slope, sea and mountain views, as well as the pre-existences built and land modelling, namely the structure of the old greenhouses and existing tree species.
The hotel unit will consist of a set of 96 beds (66 fixed and 30 convertible), with 18 accommodation units of the double room type (36 fixed beds), and 15 of type T1 (30 fixed beds and 30 convertible).
The Accommodation Units are complemented by the support facilities, namely the main building which includes Reception and support services Cafeteria and living area, meeting room and laundry; the wellness centre with heated indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, vichy bath and massage space; the outdoor swimming pool for adults and children, of adequate size to the capacity of the enterprise; arbor or activity pavilion, parking of vehicles sized for users, visitors and employees, and treated outdoor spaces, wooded, with paths and lakes.
