El Tirol is located in the mountains of San Rafael de Heredia, it has a climate that varies depending on the time of year and the time of day between 23 to 15 degrees Celsius. It is located approximately 15 kilometers from the Juan Santamaria International Airport and at an approximate height of 1,865 meters above sea level.
