Casas de Sol organize a family neighborhood of fifteen houses. Located in Agras Norte, in the city of Aveiro, the villas offer T3, T4 and T4+1 typologies where contact with the outside takes place in greater privacy and better sun exposure.
With natural and comfortable materials, Casas de Sol promote healthy and appealing living, a return to the family home. Wood, white brick, concrete and pure zinc build the exteriors, while stone, wood and pastel colors cover the interiors. The orientation of the houses is done in search of sunlight and landscaped outdoor spaces.

With two patios, the house extends across the lot providing close contact with the outside and greater autonomy between the different areas. On the upper floor, a large terrace extends the winter room from the master suite.
Casas de Sol is the result of a project conceived by Architect Ricardo Vieira de Melo. Familiar with the subject of housing, on which he defended his doctoral thesis, he has been a university professor of architecture in Porto since 1993. Awarded in architecture and design, in Portugal and in Europe, Ricardo Vieira de Melo develops works of various scales, from from furniture to urban design. With works exhibited or published in Portugal, Spain, France, Holland, Finland, Russia, Greece, United Arab Emirates, China and Brazil, Ricardo Vieira de Melo finds his greatest inspiration in nature.
